By June of 2026 Journeys students will improve from 40% to 70%  at Journeys that will improve 1-2 grade levels as measured by assessments geared to Journeys Programs. (Brigance (Special education assessment for reading and math) and SPPS FAST testing.)









 

Measure bench marks each 3- Week MOD (journeys break their school year into 12 separate 2-week grading periods). Fall will give the baseline.

 

Training of case managers on September 18th on Brigance and FAST testing data collection 

 

Continued collaboration in weekly PLC team meetings around strategies for literacy instruction/improvement-  at each 3- week MOD.

 

Alignment of EL staff for co-teaching and collaboration in Reading Strategies  classes. El will implement additional strategies to supplement 

Monthly Team meetings around the benchmark data, that is then reported to the building leadership team, to be reviewed after each 3-week MOD. Team meeting notes that include looking at the data cycle, and how to implement new strategies if incremental progress is not being made. Share outs at building leadership meetings.

 

Principal Walk through Shared spreadsheet to account for consistent data collection after each 3-week MOD.

Culture / Climate

The rate of consistent attendance for all students from 49% to 75% as measured by school records (BOLT).

 

By the end of Semester 2, behavior incidents reports will decrease, compared to school ST 24-25 data, as measured by data collection of incident reports.

1>Include attendance monitoring in the PBIS weekly meetings 

Regularly review daily attendance data and pull data reports.

Conduct more home visits. 

 

Strengthening the PBIS and SAT team with more positive intervention strategies, extended training and a new behavior intervention protocol. 


 

Agenda/meeting notes from reviewing daily attendance. 

Regular phone calls made, to reach out to students and documented. 

Document the engagement of students back in school as a result of home visits.
